Pete and Jeff started riding the back roads of Texas in 2007, mainly because that was the only thing they could agree on for their annual vacation.
It kind of took on a life of it's own, the next year we themed it as a photo/video shoot, and did that whole deal.
2009 we rode same route as previous years, making it third year in a row.

Learnings:
- Safety - Cars and Bikes don't mix. Cars don't see us. The sag wagon will be a permanent fixture.
- Good bike shorts are necessary on long rides, chafing is a problem.
- Never race Jeff unless you like to lose
- A day inbetween is helpful for geriatric types and 60 mile days
